The study on the relation between diluted contrast media and nephrostomy tube of domestic product

Abstract

|
After the first report´of percutaneous treatment of hydronephrosis by Goodwin in 1955, percutaneous nephrostomy has played a very important role in the field of endourology. The author*studied the relatic nship between nephrostomy tube balloon of domestic product and contrast media acording to the diluted concentration. The results of study showed that although domestic product of nephrostomy tube was used, the conneting channel for the ballooning of nephrostomy tube was not obstructer and if we use tae 3-5m1 of diluted contrast media in 25%-33%, we can get satisfactory simple X-ray finding and fluoroscopic view without hazardous change on the balloon.
